Jobs and Politics

Was channel surfing last night when i stumbled upon this BBC debate programme about muslim females in Britain not integrating and generally not mixing around within the English community well just because of a right they exercise which is to wear a veil.

Whoever says wearing the veil hinders and prevents an individual from generally being accepted in the community is totally insane and unjustified.How can a thin piece of cloth ever hinder someone from putting across her ideas and how can it stop interaction with others? The sad truth is that ignorance,hypocrisy,double standards and a general lack of awareness and understanding is playing a part in this.I would never want my wife or child be subjected to this.Luckily Singapore is more pragmatic and more tolerant.Kudos to that.

Lest i make this post too political and depressing,ain has just went through her 2nd police interview.I'd imagine it must be so nerve wrecking for her.But knowing her,she'll pull through,i know she will.Now when i think of the future,when she's working in police force (god willing) and I'm still schooling,it'll be cool,in a weird way way.hahaha

Finding a job is ever so complicated.Is there a job where i can snooze all day and get paid? I'd love to do that!
