A day of god's blessings..

Today was the dreaded NCC HQ's airborne selection test.I went there nervous as hell,but i kept my cool,because I've had some experience in competitive races before and this is no different.It's a test of endurance and fitness.

Push Ups: 38

Pull Ups: 15

Sit Ups: 32

2.4 Km run: 11.08 mins

Hooray! I passed! But this is only the beginning.There's still the FFI to go to and another selection at Commando HQ at Hendon.But I'm anticipating airborne with open arms.

Why a day of god's blessings today? Apart from me passing the selection,my darling got her dreams fulfilled,to be a police officer!She got her letter today too! I'm so proud of her,now all of the waiting is over,the real training starts for her.But I know I'm going to miss her so much,especially at night.Thank God my family and I have an outing with her to K.L just a few days before her enlistment.Today is really a blessing for both of us.My prayers for her has been answered.

To all who went for the selection and didn't make it,don't despair,you can still go for the FFI and the Commando selection.Just more training and I know all of you can do it.
