Babies and Lunars.

Was eagerly anticipating Nike's newest technology (gimmick, fad) to hit Singapore's shores, and when I found out from sgrunners.com that the shoe was due to arrive on 1st October, I immediately got around getting it today. With my maiden run of 4 km, the shoe had lesser cushioning, but boy was it light.damn light.

The hari raya celebration was a muted one, with only 3 houses that we visited. But the day was brightened when I went to my uncle's house. His youngest daughter, at 23, was a year older than me, but already happily married with a 3 month old gorgeous son. Before you think it was a shotgun marriage, she was going out with the guy for quite a while, and marrying early was pre-planned because her parents were old and wanted to give them the happiness of holding their grandchild.

Now isn't he cute? Mama said his cheeks were just like mine when I was young. Before I left, I held his hand, and stroked his cheeks. I swear, if God gave me a child now, I'd be the best dad I can ever be.

I hope I can be the best boyfriend too, but sometimes, I make mistakes.

I love you.
